Atypical Edge is an educational technology platform designed to assist parents and educators in generating customized curriculum, schedules, and tracking tools for students. The platform utilizes artificial intelligence to aid in the creation of these materials.

2. User Responsibilities & AI Disclaimer

You understand that Atypical Edge uses generative Artificial Intelligence to create lesson plans, therapy goals, and educational content. AI systems can occasionally generate inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate information ("hallucinations").

As a parent or educator, it is your strict responsibility to review, fact-check, and approve all AI-generated curriculum, materials, and physical activity suggestions before presenting them to a student. Atypical Edge is not liable for any educational gaps, errors in content, or consequences resulting from the direct application of generated materials.

3. Intellectual Property

All original code, design, branding, and proprietary systems within Atypical Edge are the intellectual property of Tiffany Marvin and Atypical Edge. You may not duplicate, copy, or reuse any portion of the HTML/CSS/Javascript or visual design elements without express written permission.

4. Educational Institutional Use

If you are accessing Atypical Edge on behalf of a school district or educational institution during a pilot program or via a paid contract, you represent that you have the authority to bind said institution to these terms. Institutional users are responsible for ensuring that their use of the platform complies with their local district policies regarding AI use in the classroom.

5. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Atypical Edge and its founder shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits, data, or educational standing resulting from your use of the platform.

6. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Idaho, United States, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
